I really want to study political science, but everyone tells me that I won’t get a job. It will be a waste of degree, time, money. I’m confused. Any advice?

@NickSkate7 I can help, it’s spelled; College. Joking aside, it’s good that you’re thinking about your college degree, but you don’t have to make a real decision on it untill your 2nd year of college in most cases. There’s no way of saying what your career could, or would be. Just know; among many other things, employers will look for college graduates first to fill ANY position, your degree doesn’t particularly have to deal with your work. If you’re still worried, major in engineering.

The word “homosexual” is more appropriate and accurate than the word “gay”.
A person does not need religion, hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important, qualitative differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption.
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have succeeded at framing themselves as noble victims and martyrs; it’s an effective way to push a social agenda.

The thing about getting a degree in political science is that you have to be able to sell yourself. If you expect to walk into a job after you’re done it’s not for you! A little bit of elbow grease, networking, and self marketing is the price of doing something you love! One of the best ways beef up your resume is to ensure you are volunteering/interning in political science related positions throughout your degree. Experience definitely will speak volumes to employers!
