@BeingNobody1956 I have felt the same way for a long time, but the deficit/debt ceiling fiasco broke my perspective of him. I have felt for a long time that he, for some reason, treated the GOP as if they were his bosses, and that cemented it. I wish he’d been more like Bush, because Bush didn’t give a damn about ople who didn’t support him. Obama seems to want to placate them. He hasn’t acted like the man we elected.

Exactly one year later… 7/26/2011… and what do we got?
nobody’s being tough on the bankers… a spare war to replace Iraq, which may or may not be over… DADT is history, so that’s one thing… but everybody still hates each other, the right is crazier with each passing day, we’re being sold out at the same rate to the same crooks, and everybody’s unemployed. We haven’t really gotten anywhere.
I’m sad now, I need to go do something productive.

@crypticjim even if obama didnt get all the things done he promised I can say that he tried, but was beat down by people who basically oppese his plans for no other reason then that he is a liberal. His message of Hope and Change, whether fulfilled or not is the proper message. it is the way we should be, according to my “spiritual” views which have nothing to do with politics. that is why I will suppoert him even if he has not done a spectacular job. the alternative is not an option

The big reality missed here is who really pays attention to bloggers anyway? Unless the subscriberships are in the millions, then no one really gives a crap what their opinion is. The only reason Obama has to defend against right-wing blogs is because FOXNews picks up those stories and spreads them to millions of people… I don’t see CNN picking up on left-wing blogs ever. Maybe your whiny campaign to get attention should start there and not with Obama – he’s busy trying to run the world today

Its amazing that self proclaimed progressives share the same naive view that right wing conservatives have at their own self importance. I like a lot of the criticism that TYT delivers but the reality is that it is the center that sways the vote in this two party system and for the most part all the center wants is to be left alone. No theocratic right increasing the government through police state paranoia no left wing antics of making us all rely on the govt. for our own good.

@benchfordeath Possibly. It’s hard to imagine him being a bigger pussy. But Kerry was backing down on the campaign trail. Obama was going to shack things up, take up the fight for the little guy, hope, change, and all that other bull shit. And then he got elected and some how managed to forget all that stuff. I honestly can’t understand why anyone would even bother to vote next time.

It’s interesting to watch this older video now that Obama has capitulated to Republicans even further. Just when you think Obama can’t going any lower, he gets down on his knees and deep throats GOP cock.
